Jason T. Moss, Esquire is the president at the law firm Moss & Associates, Attorneys P.A., where he focuses exclusively in the areas of litigation and bankruptcy.  His firm received the 2003 South Carolina Bar Pro Bono Law Firm of the Year.  Mr. Moss earned his Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of South Carolina, Magna Cum Laude, and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.  He was also elected into the prestigious national honor society Phi Beta Kappa.  Mr. Moss is Federally Licensed, a member of the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.  He has spoken at the South Carolina Bankruptcy Lawyer Association Annual Seminar, The South Carolina Bar and NBI. 

Heather S. Bailey, the managing attorney for the Charleston office, has been working with Moss & Associates, Attorneys P.A., since 2006.  She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Charleston School of Law in 2010 and passed the SC Bar in February 2011.  Moreover, while completing her legal studies at the Charleston School of Law, she was featured in the television series "Crowned" which was nationally televised on the CW network,  she also studied abroad focusing on International Law at the University of Amsterdam in 2009. Miss Bailey is a member of the South Carolina Bar, the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association and the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.

Christopher Edwardsthe managing attorney for the Greenville office of Moss & Associates, P.A., practices in the areas of bankruptcy and consumer law. Prior to joining Moss & Associates, Mr. Edwards practiced civil litigation and criminal law with Moore, Taylor & Thomas in West Columbia. He earned his A.S., and B.A. degrees from the University of South Carolina and his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr. Edwards is a member of the South Carolina Bar and the South Carolina Bankruptcy Law Association.

Christian Waites, is an associate practicing in the firm's Charleston and Columbia offices. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the College of Charleston and his J.D. degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, Mr. Waites was the President of the South Carolina Association of Justice student chapter and was published in the South Carolina Law Review. Christian was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2016 and practices in the areas of bankruptcy and consumer law. He is a member of the South Carolina Bar Association and Young Lawyers Division. Prior to joining the firm, he clerked for The Honorable L. Casey Manning of the South Carolina Fifth Judicial Circuit. Outside of his practice, he enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and is an avid fan of the South Carolina Gamecocks.

Peter Korn, was born in Chicago in 1945. He received his BA degree in Economics in 1968 from Northern Illinois University. In 1969 he was a marine rifle  platoon leader in Vietnam. He received his JD degree in 1974 from the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mr Korn has over 43 years experience in the areas of realestate, mortgage foreclosure and retail collection. He co-authored the foreclosure manual for the SC Bar. Mr Korn  has been designated counsel for Freddie Mac and retained counsel for Fannie Mae. Korn Law Firm was an early member of the USFN. Mr Korn has served as Honorary consul of the Slovak Republic and has traveled extensively. Mr Korn and his wife have three adult children and now live in Leesville, SC.

Roger K Pruitt, is a Paralegal with the law firm, Moss & Associates, P.A., where our focus is exclusively centered on the area of bankruptcy.  Roger began working for Moss & Associates in March 2001 and worked for the law firm in both the Columbia and Florence offices until August 2005 when Reed Law Firm split from the law firm.  There he was the lead paralegal for the law firm in the Florence, South Carolina office.  Roger returned to Moss & Associates in March 2013 and has continued to work for the law firm in both the Columbia and Charleston offices ever since.  Prior to working for Moss & Associates, Roger was the bankruptcy representative for American General Finance and has worked in the bankruptcy field for the past 20 years.  Roger further earned his Bachelor Degree in History from Ashford University in 2010 and his Master Degree in History from the University of Nebraska at Kearney in 2013.  Roger is also presently working on his Juris Doctor at Charleston School of Law with a projected graduation date of August 2018.  While in law school Roger has served as the Treasurer of the Federal Bar Association-Student Division.  Roger is married and has 5 children, with his son, Cameron, also working for Moss & Associates.  In his spare time, when he has any, he likes to play baseball with the Columbia Saturday Baseball League, and do things with his family. 

Chi Anne Walling, is a committed professional with 16 years of experience in bankruptcy. Mrs. Walling earned her B.S. degree in Criminal Justice from the University of South Carolina in 2000.  In 2001, she was trained as a bankruptcy paralegal with the Moss & Reed. In 2004, she accepted an opportunity to work in the legal department  for the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee. Chi Anne worked for the Chapter 13 Trustee and gained great knowledge and experience in bankruptcy. She has earned a certificate of completion for Leadership at the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees conference. Mrs. Walling has a passion for people and seeks to serve others as a litigation specialist for Moss & Associates. 

Debe Buck, is a Legal Assistant/Proof of Claims Specialist in the Charleston Office. She began working for Moss & Associates  August 31, 2015. She has one year experience in the legal field and over 35 years experience in customer service.  She specializes in the filing of Proof of Claims, and also in the retrieval and return of repossessed vehicles. She works on a one-on-one basis with our clients after they meet with the Managing Attorney, Ms. Heather Bailey.  Her main focus when working with our clients is to treat all clients with the utmost respect, patience, understanding and empathy, and to offer superior, sincere support and reassurance during the difficult financial/personal situations they are experiencing. She works with our clients individually and helps them collect all of their paperwork and documents needed for their cases to be prepped by the paralegals.  Ms. Buck graduated from Lanphier High School in Springfield, Illinois with Honors.  She also was a licensed realtor in Illinois for ten years.   She  received Employee of the Year Award in 1988 from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine where she worked from 1985-2002, training medical students, residents, and doctors on computer software.  She was an active volunteer for 10 years at SIU School of Medicine volunteering for the Children's Miracle Network Telethon. 

Jamie Weller, joined the firm of Moss and Associates, P.A. as a paralegal in June 2017.  Mrs. Weller has over 16 years of legal experience specializing in the areas of litigation, creditor rights, foreclosure and real estate law.   Mrs. Weller graduated from Midlands Technical College with an APS cum laude in Paralegal Studies and Columbia College with a BA magna cum laude in Behavioral Science.  She continues to keep her education and knowledge current through continuing education classes, seminars and reading legal and science journals.  Mrs. Weller also enjoys volunteering in her community, reading, hunting, fishing and spending time with her family. 

Jennie Wardis the Chapter 7 & Loan Modification paralegal for the Greenville office of Moss & Associates. Jennie has been working with Moss & Associates, P.A. since 2007. Jennie is from the Greenville area and graduated from Blue Ridge High School in 2003. She has many years of bankruptcy experience and has helped numerous clients with obtaining successful mortgage modifications.

Kendra Evelsizeris a mortgage modification paralegal working in the Columbia office. She specializes in providing clients with assistance in mortgage modification reviews. The primary goal of this process is to negotiate with mortgage companies in an effort to make mortgage payments more affordable for our clients. She is currently working to obtain a dual degree from the University of South Carolina in Experimental Psychology and Criminology. Along with maintaining the duties at the office, Kendra is a member of the University of South Carolina's Cheerleading team. Following her graduation from the university, she aspires to further her education and career in law. 

Aleshia Navais a Legal Assistant/Loan Modification Specialist in the Charleston Office. Her main focus is to help clients reduce their mortgage payments while working with them one on one during the application process. During the modification process she delivers any and all requests from the mortgage companies directly to the client. Along with the loan modifications, she files all Plan Completions, Motions to Incur debt, and Report of Loan Closings. Aleshia is also a receptionist with the firm in which she communicates daily with client phone calls, books appointments for potential new clients, checks the court dockets and hearing notes for upcoming court dates, and sends the trustee's all required documents for each client. She spent her childhood and high school years in Norfolk, Virginia where she attended Maury High School. Aleshia is a full time wife and mother who raises her family in the quiet city of Goose Creek, SC. Aleshia's husband Brian, is an Omar Shriner and on their spare time they attend parades and events which raise money for the Shriner's Hospitals for Children, who provide care for children that suffer neuromusculoskeletal conditions, burn injuries, and special needs.

Kathleen C. Floyd Mrs. Floyd earned her B.A. degree at Clemson University in 1994. Mrs. Floyd is a bankruptcy communication administrator.

Amanda Stewart began working at Moss & Associates in 2016 and is one of our Confirmation Paralegals. Amanda will be graduating from Midlands Technical College in May of 2018 and will obtain her Paralegal Certificate while working at Moss & Associates, P.A.

Sasha Brunson has been with Moss & Associates for 2 years. Ms. Brunson is the bankruptcy intake manager for the Columbia office.

Natalie P. Darkhas worked as a paralegal with Moss and Associates, P.A. in various capacities since 2003 .  She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Carolina in Interdisciplinary Studies concentrating in Political Science and Management. She also has an Associate’s Degree as a paralegal/legal assistant.  Natalie now lives in Alabama with her husband and three children. She obtained her Insurance License where she sells insurance working in a family business as well as continues to work for Moss and Associates.

Cameron L Pruitta paralegal/legal assistant for the Columbia office. Has been working with Moss & Associates, Attorneys P.A since 2013. My job is the serve the needs to our clients’ to the best of my ability and, make their visit here the best it can be. I also help in the marketing of this firm and, help with any mailings and serving legal papers for that day. I’m a native from the state of Virginia. While in high school I was selected to the Virginia Boys State in 2012 and, was elected as treasurer of FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America). I’m currently a student at Midlands Technical College and major in paralegal studies. I have volunteered at The Family Shelter of South Carolina here in Columbia, a homeless shelter that helps young mothers get a job and, teaches them to provide for themselves and their family.

Kayla Suberis  a Chapter 13 paralegal for the Greenville office. She has been working with Moss & Associates, P.A. since 2010. Prior to joining Moss & Associates, Mrs. Suber earned her B.S. degree from Erskine College in Business Administration.  While obtaining her degree she was a member of Chi Lil Sis and was on scholarship as a 4 year starter on the Erskine College Softball team.

Elizabeth Williamsis a Bankruptcy Professional with Moss & Associates from Lexington, South Carolina. Upon graduation from the University of South Carolina with a bachelors degree is Criminology in 2014, she has worked as a Paralegal with experience in Bankruptcy, Personal Injury, Criminal, and Tax law.

Stanley Rouseis a paralegal in the mortgage department with a primary focus on Motion for Relief. He started with the firm in March 2011 and has continued to service the client's mortgage needs. Prior to working for the firm he worked in disaster relief restoration for 10 years. He traveled across the nation restoring, and rebuilding homes and businesses after major catastrophies from Hurricane Katrina to the wild fires of California. The experience from restoration helped him focus on understanding that every client's home is the most important investmet in their lives. He has over 6 years of Bankruptcy exeprience in the mortgage department of Moss & Associates, primarily in the Columbia and Charleston offices.

Natalie Mardisis a paralegal with 15 years of experience in bankruptcy. She earned her B.A. degree from Drury University in 2001. She began working for Moss & Associates, P.A. in 2002 as a case signer and currently specializes in litigation, confirmation, and post-confirmation matters in Chapter 13 cases. Born and raised in Arkansas, Natalie has lived in the mid-west and New England areas prior to moving to South Carolina. She and her husband moved back to Missouri in 2006 to be near family while raising their 3 children. She continues to work full-time for the firm.

Lindsey Swannbegan working at Moss & Associates in 2005 and is one of our Confirmation Paralegals. Lindsey graduated in 2006 from USC where she received her BA degree in Socialoligy. In 2008 Lindsey also received her Paralegal Certificate while working at Moss & Associates.

Tara Blackstarted at Moss & Associates in 2002. She has spent many years as a Bankruptcy Analyst and in Client Communications. Tara  is currently the Office Manager and Accounts Coordinator.

Brett Lockwoodbegan his paralegal career in 2004 starting as a receptionist with Moss & Associates. While he has fulfilled many positions over the years, he currently assists in many aspects of the office including document collection, case analysis and communicating with clients. Brett is an avid boater, rv enthusist and a dog lover.

Paul Dawsonhas been with the Moss and Associates team since 2014 and currently is North Charleston's office Supervisor. He earned a B.S. in Finance and an M.B.A. from Winthrop University. While attending Wintrhop University he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon and served as President, Treasurer and Social Chairman. Paul is Moss and Associates Director of IT, Marketing, and Corporate Expansion. He is also the firms Web Master, Google Adwords and Facebook Administrator. His favorite activities are kite surfing, mountain biking, weight training, and salt water jetty fishing.
